Welcome to the Pearl of the Indian Ocean! You will meet with an Ace Travel representative at the airport. From there, you will be taken directly to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy the Sri Lankan hospitality.

Today you will drive to the cultural hub of Sri Lanka, where there are some of the most impressive religious sights in Asia. Relax and enjoy the views and the diverse scenery.

Once you arrive, the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

You will be up early this morning to climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Here you will see the impressive ruins of an ancient citadel. Although the climb is challenging, the views at the top are well worth the early morning. Just make sure to take enough water and sensible footwear.

 The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy your hotel.

Today you will spend the morning cycling around Polonnaruwa.

Later this afternoon, you are heading to Minneriya National Park. Minneriya is home to the world-famous Elephant Gathering, which happens between August and September. Although hundreds of Elephants reside here all year round, so you are sure not to be disappointed!

Today you travel to Kandy, on the route you will visit the Dambulla caves, dating back to the 1st century. All of the caves contain varying sizes of statues of Buddha commissioned by reigning Sri Lankan kings. 

On arrival at your hotel you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

This morning your Chauffer-guide will take you to the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Take your time to walk around and soak up a variety of plant life. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Temple of the Tooth, where the relic of Buddha's Tooth is kept.

This morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the train station. You will then board the train for the approx. 2hour journey up to Hatton. The train journey takes you around the winding hills of the tea country. Once in Hatton, your chauffeur-guide will be at the station to take you onto your hotel.

Today you are free to explore the tea country.  There is a whole bunch of activities you can do from this property. The property offers a tea plantation experience where you can visit a nearby tea factory, learn all about the most famous Ceylon tea making process, meet local villagers, and many more.

Today is your longest drive where you'll head onwards to Yala National Park. Yala is the home for the highest density of the leopard population in the world. Relax this evening as tomorrow will be an early start with the hope of getting the best chances of spotting a leopard in the National Park.

An exciting day with two jeep safaris! This morning you will start early as the early morning is the best time of day to spot these beautiful creatures.  Afterward, head back to your hotel for a spot of lunch and some relaxation. This afternoon you will head back for your final Yala game drive!

After a leisurely breakfast, your driver will drive you to the south coast to your beautiful beachside property. For the following days, you can enjoy some well-deserved relaxation or explore the activities around the property.

Today you can take a dip in the pool and enjoy lazing in the sunshine or explore the activities around your property.  However, I would like to suggest some activities if you are fancy venturing out from your beachside retreat.  You could go on a whale-watching trip in Mirissa, cycling experience in a nearby village, visit a nearby turtle hatchery or perhaps visit Galle Fort.

Having reached at the end of your program, you will be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport in time of your departure flight.
