We prioritize purchasing locally produced goods for our tours to bolster local communities. Our activities engage locals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, providing foreign tourists opportunities to explore livelihoods & discover hidden traditions within each community. Moreover, we actively guide our clients towards community support projects & coordinate donation programs aimed at benefiting schools,, and various local initiatives.
We do not promote anything that causes a negative impact on nature or its creatures, nor do we support anything that violates the rights and freedom of animals, including taking them away from their natural habitats. Additionally, we share insights about conservation and replantation projects, providing our customers with the opportunity to participate and contribute.
Minimizing pollution and managing waste are integral parts of our operations. We have introduced reusable glass bottles, electric and hybrid vehicles, and biodegradable bags and utensils. To further reduce our carbon footprint, we minimize travel and use public or shared transportation whenever possible. We conduct staff training to ensure the best practices for maximizing the use of sustainable initiatives.
We prioritize promoting hotels that use renewable energy sources, such as solar power, and practice waste management systems to reduce pollution. We support hotels that take initiatives to minimize their negative impact on the surrounding nature and habitat, hire local staff, and contribute to protecting and preserving Sri Lankan traditions and customs in their respective destinations.
